Orchid House is a very special yet affordable BIg Island retreat. Described by the building inspector as a "happy house",
it's a colorful, inviting, open, one-room tropical-style cottage with a sleeping loft plus bath. There is a distant
ocean view through a yard filled with coconuts, bananas, papaya, and mango trees as well as many fragrant
tropical flowers and garden crops such as pineapple and salad greens. A small pond is filled with water lilies
and polliwogs. Birds are so abundant their morning song nearly drowns out the sound of crashing ocean waves.
Orchid House is a perfect honeymoon cottage.
