Nearby snorkeling pools, tidepools, kayaking, hiking trails, sea cliffs, anthurium & orchid farms, historic villages,
Isaac Hale Park (surfing, fishing), Lava Tree Park, plus Akaka, Rainbow and Pe'epe'e Water Falls, make
this a truly wondrous place. Two hours are needed to drive to the best body surfing and snorkeling beaches on the
other "tourist side" of the island, and campgrounds as well as many affordable hotels are
available there for overnight stays.
Adventurers and Naturists will enjoy the secluded, clothing optional, beauty of some of these sites.
